Default Philip Sayce - Peace Machine

Hi, I recently got his older CD as a birthday present, as I was long time preparing to listen to it lol, and I would like to share my thoughts with you and possibly recommend it to you.

Philip Sayce - Peace Machine

This is his older album, he has a new album out now called Innerevolution (which I'm about to get soon ). But let's talk about this one now, I think it's kinda like a modern blues rock with old rock sound. He uses pretty sweet old school equipment so the album sounds that way too (think Hendrix and SRV sound), but it's far from copying these legends of rock guitar.

It has it's own sound and style. Don't expect any hard rock palm muting, more like from pop rock meets blues rock to pretty mean and heavy blues riffs. I'm not really good at describing sound with words, so I added two examples of songs bellow the text. One of them is straight up MP3 ripped from the CD (my favourite song) and the next one is a montage video from battlefield where I used another song from the album (I don't wanna feel like such a pirate just uploading mp3's here for you lol - either way I know you can download it, but you should support an unknown artist and buy it, that's what I did and I NEVER buy music ).

I like the variety in songs, there are some very soulful solos in there, but honestly some of them sound a little over the top to me. Still very nice to listen to and refreshing.

EXAMPLES:
Track 10 - Over My Head - 10._Over_My_Head.wma.MP3 - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage
Track 8 - Blood On Your Hands - YouTube - Blood On My Hands - BC2 montage
