Default Cameron & Schwarzenegger to reunite?

Wow, this could be very cool. Arnold in Avatar 2 or 3? Could be...

Go see here a picture is included...

They went to Brazil together and Arnold isn't the "governator" anymore, so he's free to go back to acting.

thoughts?

I doubt he will cast in Avatar 2. Even if he did, I can't fathom what role he would play.

I don't know if I like the idea of him involved in Avatar 2 or 3 or not, but I think it might happen. Either way, imagine him trying to play a Na'vi (or even speak it) with his accent. Funny image to me.

No. No. No. No. no no no no. NO!

We don't need any "big names" in the sequels except for the ones that have been created because of it.

Thank you for your time

I so agree! Even though Arnold could make a great villain, his history in the film industry would be a huge distraction in the Avatar sequel ... he would be too familiar to the audience.

^ I agree. I don't really like the idea of him involved and he would be distracting if he were in the film. Maybe if they could CGI him into someone/something nobody recognized so strongly, it might be less of a distraction with still a "big name" for the studio to be excited about.

I agree!
We already have Sam and Zoe, both are big now , plus Grace will be back in at least some capacity. That should be enough
Plus, with Sigourney Weaver being booked for the sequel again, I think a lot of people would see it as too far if he was there as well, those are the two actors JC uses the most

You know there's probably going to be at least one big name added to the sequel cast, though.

So then he promptly starred in "The Expendables." He said he's going back to moviemaking.

He would... make it into something completely different. In fact, now I'm wondering what it'd be like if he was in it. It'd be like seeing Jack Black in LotR or something; wrong, but interesting.

Hmmm... I'm thinking *all* wrong. Like if Hayden Christensen played some adolescent Na'vi immaculately conceived by Eywa who gets seduced by skypeople technology and ends up joining forces with the RDA.

I think I'd have to throw my drink at the screen and then go home and microwave all my Avatar Blu-ray discs to cleanse myself!

I loved Jack's parody video though...
Boromir: "...it's a gift!"
Jack-Frodo: "You're damn right it is..."

Nevertheless, I guess it was either here or on AF, where I speculated that as a little cameo in-joke about the former Cameron-Schwarzenegger cooperation, JC could have Arnold as the RDA's CEO to whom Parker Selfridge would have to answer after returning to Earth less than triumphantly, to put it mildly... with his proverbial tail tucked in and head very low would be closer to reality. I would chuckle at such a scene and like it.

But that's just me and my sense of humor.

Wiggling bare toes,

Do not want

That was something good about Avatar - someone really well known makes you think of that person and characters they typically play. Avatar didn't do that, because they are both less known for the most part, but also completely their characters . Sigourney Weaver is the exception of course with recognisability, but she plays MANY different characters well, while all Arnold Schwarzenegger's characters are really the same.
