I believe it's something else entirely. My uncle has a friend that has connections with the US Intelligence, no lie. My uncle told me that there was some kind of plan by an unknown entity to attack the South, aka where I live. I told him it couldn't be that serious of an attack, but he was serious. Wanna know how? I went to his house...and saw, besides the very impressive collection of over a hundred guns ranging from rifles to automatics, he has bought and stocked enough food for 30 YEARS!!!

I saw it in his three sheds, which were excavated over the period of a month. He has everything from food and water, to livestock, guns & ammo, and even gold & silver to use as trading. WTF?

I know this may be blown off by most of you all, but my uncle is an honest and honorable man. If he's preparing for this

like things are going to be catostrophic for years, than I believe he's being serious. Whether this is wrong or not, might as well take this time to say good luck and I wish you all safety. I love you all regardless.

Some people did the same in the belief that everything would be spontaneously exploding or whatever due to y2k, instead of some systems simply displaying 19100 instead of 2000. It doesn't mean they know anything special.

But, on the note of the end of the world- I don't believe anyone can ever accurately judge when the end of the world will be. There are too many definitions of *the end of the world*.

Are these people talking about the;

Mental ending? [When humans lose all sense of reasoning]
Physical ending? [Our planet literally burns]
Metaphorical ending? [They believe it the 'start of the end' of something great?]

That's just a few. Judging the end of a planet based upon human-simulated numbers is quite foolish. I would explain that but I have to go shortly, ugh.

People have been doing that since the forties.

EDIT: The rapture is scheduled to take place at six pm. Apparently, by timezone. So UK guys, please warn us US residents if the rapture does indeed occur so we have an hour to suck up.

I know they have, but he doesn't believe that it's going to be the end of the world. He says there's a possibility of there being a catastrophic attack on the South.

Unless its a nuke, there's no worry.

Or a bioterrorist attack. But that would kill everybody, so... moot point.
