Most interesting.
Tell me, have you encountered any form of 'Altitude Sickness'?

yay high point post record!

and although I have never experienced altitude sickness (because I'm not stupid and bring plenty of water), many people do...

ok well it was pretty awesome.

video:
Aketuan's Pandora on Earth on Vimeo
(see if you can spot Longs Peak and the keyboard of the winds at the various peaks...)(and yes sliding down glaciers really saves time and effort. 6 MPH, Heck Yeah! )

pics:

I have been to every lake in that gorge and been on many of the peaks in the pictures including Longs Peak.

I LOVE trailer music and I thought this one almost sounded like Avatar so I used it.

Colorado...is still one of the states I haven't visited yet. But sometime I'm going to have to make an excursion to RMNP so I can see all these sights in person. I dunno why, but that view from Hallets Peak especially looked cool to me. Thanks for posting it all.

Oh, and the end of the video made me lol.

well whenever you end up coming down just give me a call. I can show you the places no one knows about and with the best views...also Hallets is pretty awesome. You can actually climb 5 peaks (including hallets) over 12,000 ft within one hike...
