I really wish I could come... I'm srt of considering spending some of my student loan, to see if I could get a cheap ticket, but right now, it kind of seems like it's in the £400+ range, and would reqire me to miss lectures, more than likely...
 I hate living in this country sometimes, I really do.

Yeah, I was all set to miss lectures last year... it was only because of exams that I didn't go
 £400 is very optimistic though, unless flights from Wales are a couple of hundred cheaper.

I'll be free from lectures, but can't afford the flights/accomodation/transport.

Wow - I am amazed that it is cheaper to fly to Thailand with 10 days of hotel near the beach than to fly to Seattle (without hotel)... I also checked nearby airports, they are all in the same ballpark - about €1100

Hey guys, just delivering a heads-up -
My life is getting pretty complicated at the moment, and my chance of attending the meetup is looking lower than originally thought. It's not completely written out for me, but I can't say it's guaranteed. To put it simply, I've just got several other big goals I want to accomplish next year, and in deciding when to do them and which are the most important for myself and my future...well, I just can't quite make any reservations yet.But please, don't take this as a sign that this young man's "inner Na'vi" is fading away. Far from it, actually.
