Well.. the fact that I had a nightmare is intriguing. For example, I felt pure fear which I haven't felt in a long time.

I know what you mean Fosus, I don't usually have nightmares either. The only ones I ever have are those where I can't wake up. That's scary enough for me to classify it as a nightmare Also, I hate the ones where a terrible thing keeps repeating. I had a dream a while back that reminded me of LoTR kind of-- I had a ring that I had to deliver to someone, and loads of people wanted to kill me for it. Then, when I found where the person lived, I discovered they had died since I'd been told to give them the ring. Then, it happens again and again until I wake up.

I haven't had one for quite a while, now that I think about it - but then, I've had a hard time remembering dreams anyway recently.

I had a big interview to conduct the other day. Really early in the morning (at work at 5:45) via satellite from Hollywood thingy.

I stayed up late, well past 11 (Hey, that's late; I'm old!) writing the script & questions. I'd been thinking about it all day & evening.

Went to sleep, and all (that short) night dreamed that I was in Hollywood waiting for the interview to start. Woke up VERY not rested. Fail.

You're not the only one who's had dreams of ToS. I've had many dreams of myself looking at the forum on my computer screen, and even a few where I'm interacting in person with other members (which is odd considering I've never done that before).

I think it's because of habit.

I've had dreams of ToS in the past too. One of them an awfully weird dream making no sense what so ever, I remember making a topic on ToS which was about how many times I've walked up and down the stairs in my house...... And lots of other stuff like that. xD

Why can't I have normal dreams!?

I haven't had normal dreams for quite a while. I blame the coming of the spring equinox on that.

I have LOADS of ToS dreams, or more specifically, meetup dreams I dream about many of you whom I've never met, and you either look like your profile picture avatar thing or sometimes a real picture of you I may have seen. I had a lot of them this past week for some reason, some about the camping, some in the hotel, in the exhibit, etc They're pretty great. And, if you have a screencap of a na'vi/avatar character as your main picture, I usually dream you have an avatar Sometimes we're on Pandora and us regular folks need to wear exopacks.

So, a few hours ago, I woke up from a lucid dream.

I had been moving in and out of various scenes with the offbeat weirdness that seems to characterize some of my dreams, but eventually I reached this: I was getting chocolate cupcake-flavored ice cream at an ice cream stand, only this particular stand was on a moon of some planet. Or maybe on some small, spherical planetoid. Stars and the blackness of space were visible all around me, but very close by was another small planet-like world. From what I could see from where I stood, the world was a park where dozens of other people were also eating the ice cream they had bought.

"Okay, so I how do I get there?" I wondered. There was no bridge or anything appearing to connect these two small spheres. But I figured I could just jump up, break gravity's hold on me, and simply fly to the park-world. And that's exactly what I did, albeit with a little bit of a tumble onto a grassy slope.

It was after a minute or so after eating my ice cream and looking around at everyone also lounging on the grass that I realized I must be dreaming, for how could I have actually flown by myself? Suddenly everything went hazy. "Wait, I don't want to wake up yet!" I managed to stay in the dream by thinking about a particularly offbeat occurrence that had happened before I got to the ice cream stand. Once everything came back into view, I ran up the slope, flapped my arms up and down like a bird's wings, and went airborne again! I dropped off my metal spoon from midair overhead another little stand in the park before I came back down to ground again. I wanted to keep on flying, so again I ran, furiously flapped my arms, and took off as I went up a little ridge of concrete pathway. As I flew again, I heard a voice on the ground say "Duuuuuuude!" in amazement - to which I thought "You should try this too!" I was quite enjoying myself and the place I was in. I saw a mountain just ahead of me, and to my right was a smooth, crystal clear river with trees alongside it. Something about the way it looked made me think of a Japanese garden. It was all very tranquil, and the cool bluish hues of the scene made a very calming atmosphere, suggesting a pleasant evening.

Eventually I thought as I flew "I should go visit Pandora...but I'll do that once I get back on the ground!" I would have flown on through a valley I saw, but the dream went hazy again and this time I could not return to it. It would have been nice to have it last a little longer, but hey - it was still pretty awesome, and I got to fly!
