Not sure if this goes here, or in General, but I thought it was pretty cool - and science-y, in that I seriously never realised that human eyes looked like this from so close up.

"Your beautiful eyes: a series of really, really close-up photos of human eyes, showing the structure of the irises. Some are beautiful, others are eerie.

Very cool stuff. It's neat to see that there are different structures and "builds" to the iris. My favorite looking is the blue, not just the color but the way the strands(?) look, very smooth and straight.
