Hey I don't doubt they have the tech. Its the writing that is probably giving him trouble. I know I would have issues trying to come up with a sequel that both
A.)Makes sense(IE has a plot that could actually work)
B.)Doesn't totally invalidate the entire first movie

I really think its the writing that is the issue. They have all the tech done, they have the actors(around somewhere anyway), the have the "sound stage" now. I would bet that Cameron and co have at leas a rough script but nothing is set in stone.

The 3D technology that Avatar uses is far better than that

I'd rather wait and have it be worth it.
