offer still stands, if you wanna pm me some algebra problems, I'll work them out and add explanations as best I can.

Thanks guys. I won't really need help on a regular basis. Now that I'm going along at the pace I should be, it's not that hard (by not that hard I mean I might pull off a C, we'll see if my GPA turns out good enough to absorb it).

If it's just algebra, the more advanced calculators can probably solve it for you. Asking a human for help (rather than outright for the answers) is hardly cheating.

It is, in most cases (and clearly in this case since Moco directly said this), 100% cheating.

It has nothing to do with what calculators can and cannot do, and we don't even know if Moco is allowed to use a calculator at all.

Algebra isn't easy, so much as there are harder things that you can be asked to do, depending one exactly what you're being tested on. (e.g. calculus/proofs.) As I mentioned on IRC, the way I think of it is that algebra is just manipulating a string, according to a buch of rules. If you know the rules, (and you do. 2+2=4 is such a rule) and you know what the final result is supposed to look like, then it becomes easy.

Yeah, asking someone more experienced for help is cheating.

Well look, if you have trouble with algebra, which, in my opinion, is a perfectly common thing for many people, ask someone who knows about it for help. A supervisor, a teacher, whatever. If you still have problems with it, consider going to a tutor.

I'm crap at geometry, for example. I've worked on it, and it's getting better. Slowly, but still.
