Do want...

I was thinking the same thing about Avatar in IMAX, that they would put it on whenever things were a bit slow.

The SE was out or far too short last time... I'll be happy to see it once more in 3D (at last until I get a 3D monitor, but that's probably years away).

That is why I spent $2500 on my entertainment system so I can watch Avatar in 3D on a big screen right here in my living room.

.....and I don't have to spend $30 for a large popcorn and soda LOL.

Considering how many times we (collective, inclusive) watch Avatar, at $30 a whack, you'll probably save that $2500 in no time!

Don't know about you guys, but I sort of expected Avatar to become an IMAX midnight classic. Maybe in a decade or so that'll actually pan out

Possibly after the sequels, so that they can have marathons as well? (which would probably be the best part of 9 hours long, actually...)

9 hours on Pandora back to back in IMAX? That would be amazing.

Longest I've done is just shy of 6. (SE 1st and 2nd showings in Seattle's Boeing IMAX. )

Wow a marathon of Avatar? Genius! Pure Genius! I would put 6 hours of make to make that one!

After 9 hours I would have something to physically and mentally clean me up. I'd be spent.

I never understood why people would sleep outside to be the first in line to see a movie, ect. I understand now for the first time

Along with many many other things those "crazy obsessed movie nerds" do that make made no sense to me.

I once heard of someone who saw Titanic seven times in the movie theater! What where they thinking? ... "oh."

Not to mention those weirdos that learn Klingon or Elvish. I mean, What The F.. "oh."

Lawk akame...

hrh... indeed.

I've understood the logic of it before, but before Avatar, never really thought about whether I'd do it or not.
I kind of ended up doing it without realising I was until afterwards, perhaps after the 10th viewing.

An Avatar movie marathon would be so awesome I'd be there early for sure!
I hope that 9 hours of 3D wouldn't screw up your vision for too long after though.
