I wish we could have a huge meetup where we get to see everyone on here. There are so many members on this forum that won't be able to go to that meetup next year. >.<

For what? I'd like it to be exactly the same as driving my car now, except not hurting the environment and possibly a little cheaper. Why do I need hydrogen for that?

(Also, hydrogen ****ing scares me )

Naaaaaa just a bunch of Tesla coils and an electric motor.

And hydrogen isn't hurting the environment. Certain radio frequencies can break water to hydrogen and oxygen, who will burn very cleanly back to water in the engine.

There's also some strange things happening with compressed air. Energy is everywhere! We just need to figure out how to exploit it.

A hydrogen fuel cell (not a tank of compressed liquid hydrogen or anything, because yeah, that's dangerous ) - because electricity doesn't have the range.

I like to go for walks at night... It's a bit hard to see the stars, but when I can, it makes me happier.

Didn't mean to say that it was

I'm not intending to drive for days straight and iirc batteries with the range are possible, just not available right now.

I love that feeling when you're on the highway and you're going about 55, and you floor it, and your car shifts down into 3rd, revs up to where it's just licking the red line, you hear it roar, there's a slight delay, then your head is snapped back as your car lurches forward.

Also, one thing I really want to do since Avatar is buy and Old Volkswagon Bus/Vanagon and just hippie around in it and sleep in it and drive across the world with a couple of friends.

Ahh that's so cool!! Get some bead curtains for the windows. Though you can get almost any van and turn it into a hippy one.

I'd love to go HNM but I have no money whatsoever, and my family can't afford for anyone to go overseas.

Never say never, sister! if I learned one thing in my (long & intense) life that would be that <<<. I had no idea I would be going to Dubai, & I had no idea I would be going to Spain - but look where I am! & no idea about the next stop... (maybe Pandora, hehe, How I would love that!)

So who knows maybe a gorgeous Na'vi prince swoops by on his ikran & carries you away to the next meetup just like that! say, for Avatar 2 meetup in 2014? Keep your glass empty, and... and we'll see what happens.

Wait, Pali, are you a guy or a girl? I know I used to think you were a girl, then if my memory is correct, you said you were a guy, but Apache just said a Na'vi prince would swoop you away, making me think you're a girl. Now I'm confused again lol.

That's why I suggested next meetup (2013), gives you a bit more time

Had my day off again. Did the usual running through the woods, hugging trees, etc. Except today it was warm enough to go shirtless. Felt great to hug a tree without a shirt, and too lay on the wet leaves, and on the dirt, and feel it against my bare skin. Just wish that I had someone to share this with... and that I didn't have to worry about people seeing me and calling me crazy

I'm female. When did you get the impression that I said otherwise.

EDIT: I just searched through the entire forum and I never found anything about me calling myself a male or a guy..I might of said Advent was a guy though, which he is hehe.

Hmmm I think you may be right Apache. Although I can't work till at least the late part of 2013.

Hah that would be interesting, although there are only a few members here who are in Australia. Oh well I suppose I'll have to see what happens.

Man, you are so lucky that you can do stuff like that. I think if anyone saw you they'd just think you liked nature. Now if you painted yourself blue or purple then they might call you crazy. Not like that's every stopped anyone here.

My ultimate goal is to live near the ocean, head down there at the crack of dawn, sit down on a rock and play on an acoustic bass guitar. It's amazing how much nature inspires creativity.
