"The Hobbit"
The movie itself is okay, but I can sit here all day saying how badly they retold the story from the book. But the movie was fairy good. |

Watched Hobbit 2 for the second time.
Let me just say that I'm no purist when it comes to adaptations, and if one tries to create an adaptation that ties the events of the Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings, liberties from the original text are inevitable. Create a film trilogy aimed at a larger, more mature audience the contrivances and plot holes from what is after all a children's book to be tied up. Long story short: I don't mind deviations that Peter Jackson made, since most of the themes are preserved.

Oh yeah!! Go see..please!
![]() It's seriously twisted on account of the general (can't remember his name) and the fawn but it is a fantastic piece of film. Just came back from seeing The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, on account of Australia getting the tail end of film releases but I think the wait was worth it. I could go on about all the added bits and changes from the book, but the scenes with Smaug astonished me. He was just how I imagined him..Vain, cunning and smothered in the riches of the dwarves.

"Random Quest"
A man is knocked unconscious when an experiment with a particle accelerator goes wrong and he wakes up in a parallel world. It's not a bad movie, it's just very middle of the road. You can tell they tried and it works for what it is. But the movie needed at least one more hour to it. It's only an hour long. |

The King's Speech
I was a bit unsure before I sat down to watch it as I didn't know how they were going to make a compelling film about a chap with a stammer, but somehow they managed it. And they played Beethoven's 7th

"Dick Tracy"
I haven't seen this movie for 20 years. I like it. It's bright and colorful and I always liked crime solving stuff. But some of gangsters did freak me out a bit. The one dude looked like the zombie from "Dawn of the Dead". And the faceless one reminded me of Slenderman. "Men in Black 3" I still like it. I still think the space unicorn dude is awesome. And I always liked time travel stuff. |

"The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle"
I don't care what anybody, I think this movie's just fine. Yes, it's cheesy and not as good as the show, but it's fun and it makes me smile. |

lol, no idea what it was about
Yeah, I'd say that's one of the derpier classic horror movies. I'd put that at the bottom and Scanners at the top of 80s psychological horror.Last film watched, Human Centipede 2. |

I just watched "The Dark Crystal". It's an amazing film. It's pure magic and wonder. And I was able to see that there was a little but of Buddhism in there, too. This is now one of my favorite movies.

"Ghostbusters 2"
A good movie. Not as good as the first one but good. It doesn't make any sense that nobody remember the paranormal happenings, but that's really the only big flaw. |
