^I friggin' love Man On Fire. But my favorite Denzel film's gotta be Deja Vu.

Last was "G. I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra".

Omg... it was so incredibly, amazingly bad. For me it's in the so-horribly-bad-it's-actually-good genre, like "Fantastic Four". I don't like it too much at all, but it had its moments.

I watched Unleashed/Danny The Dog with Jet-Li. It wasn't as good as I hoped, but it was pretty good movie.

Titan A.E. - One of the most underated films ever, and it's soundtrack too is really awesome.

Space + rock and metal music = WIN!

Also one of the FEW movies to have an epic chase scene in space!

Even though there's no audio (well except the music) that track is in that part of the movie. Just awesome. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it!

Avatar The Last Airbender

My friends and I (including Devourment who was with us) went to go see this film yesterday and we gave it the shaft. There was blatant bad acting, plot twists, and it didn't stay true to the cartoon series at all. They even mispronounced the Avatar's name and called Ang...ONGG for goodness sake. Whatever. Our hopes were facepalmed.

I just finished watching Gettysburg. Fantastic movie.

Today was the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 1 - 3). I figured it was a nice way to honor all those who took part in the three day battle and to all those who lost their lives. Those were some brave men.

^I've gotta watch that again.

Last was "Eclipse."

...And I honestly didn't see how anyone would think it's a atrociously stupid movie. It was fine. I liked it; it was great. Good ending. The acting was also just fine (except Dakota's and maybe a couple of lines from others here and there).

I saw Sherlock Holmes last night. It was OK. Standard Hollywood fair IMO.

A bit of the a departure from the classic format as it is more action/adventure than Drama.

The potrayal of Holmes himself is very different, being potrayed a s some sort of mad, genius. maverick, cage-fighter. I didn't mind the potrayl, although I didn't really feel it was about Sherlock Holmes as i knew hime.

It was sort of a mix of CSI and Batman in Victorian England with a bit of Indiana Jones and Dr Who thrown in.

The last film I saw was Splinter.
I thought "uh, just another generic modern day horror" and even though it followed a typical plot, it had quite a clever idea behind the 'monster element'.
It was different, and one of the better modern day horrors that I have seen of late.
