Robin Hood. The Director's Cut.

What a masterpiece of filmmaking. I was grinning end-to-end when the credits rolled. Masterfully made.

Last was The Young Victoria. A LOT better than I expected, and the filmmakers picked a perfect place to end. I think I might buy it.

About to go see The Next Three Days. I've heard very good reviews.

EDIT: Pretty good! But it lacked that extra *umph*.

Well, Pocahontas was released after Cameron wrote Avatar, so...

Last was "Burlesque". When I saw the trailer I thought, "Looks fun!" Watched the movie and thought, "Umm... not my cup of tea." Some of it was just really over the line for me, and the story wasn't compelling.

just watched Pocahontas II.... what the fuk :| pocahontas knew that guy for only a few days max and he didn't even do anything heroic or didn't even get to know her or her people like john smith did but in the end she chooses him, seemed pretty shallow to me. and the giant native american guy (Pocahontas's bodyguard) decides to stay -___- why would you want to stay in that ****hole city, as if you wouldn't return to your home full of trees and rivers. **** you Pocahontas II, i am dissapoint

I saw the recent Clash of the Titans movie. It was even more disappointing than I expected, despite not having high expectations. It did not capture the the feeling of ancient Greece. I think the original was far superior. The movie had no magic.

I felt it was a poor movie with mosters and allies popping up for no rhyme and reason. And much of the action was

I hated the Gods vs men theme. I preferred the old style where the hero was hindered and aided my various Gods with different vested interests.

Also, Sam Worthingtom didn't seem much much different to his role in Avatar. He should have at least grown some hair. He even used the same line. "I need your help".

In general a forgetable movie. I think I would prefer to remember the older one.

...It's kind of what historically happened, though. Pocahontas II doesn't really give off the love vibe that the first one did, but in reality, she did fall in love with Rolfe, and they stayed together until her death... 3 years later.

I think we have the first film to blame for getting us involved with the whole John Smith + Pocahontas story (which never really happened; they were just acquainted). We need a better love story film about Pocahontas and John Rolfe... like the type of love story from "The Young Victoria". At least that movie incorporated a love theme where it was needed, and didn't just revert to the old Hollywood scheme of "If it's royalty, they're never in love," when that's just not true in some cases.

My friends were bewildered when they saw me jump up and mumble to myself 'Cool...' I was really just excited that it sounded so similar to what he said in Avatar.

You know, on a completely unrelated note, I sort of "jumped up" when I heard Alfred Molina say, "Now... you listen to me, now," from "Prince of Persia", because he says it exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) the same way he does in "Spider-Man 2", and in "Not Without My Daughter".
