Also, yesterday I saw District 9 for the first time. Brilliant film. Wasn't expecting it to end the way it did, but I liked it that way.

Oh man, I'm still trying to form all my thoughts on it. But it was amazingly good and I was kept glued to my seat the whole way through. I knew there was a twist in the plot, but I definitely wasn't expecting that...wow. Hey, we don't have a thread devoted solely to Fight Club here, do we? If not, I think I need to make one to discuss Tyler Durden, the movie's messages, etc. I know there's quite a few people here who like this movie a lot.

Gulliver's Travels. Not a bad movie, it was good in some parts.
I noticed there was two references to Avatar in there as well. Gulliver referred to dying and coming back as an Avatar to the people of Lilliput. <He lied of course> Secondly when he gets a life sized remake of Times Square on one of the billboards is "Gavatar" with his face instead of the standard one.

RED

Bruce's movies haven't been that great lately but this one is by far his best in a long time. The movie is hilarious and entertaining as well. I actually watched it twice. Malkovich is funny as usual. I suggest ya'all watch it.

Paranormal Activity 2

Pretty similar to the original and I had no idea that it was somewhat connected to the first until my gf pointed out the sister and husband that were in the original. I knew they looked familiar but I couldn't remember where from until she said PA1. Ohhhhh so the story made more sense and now I know why she disappeared and what it was all about. Some of it was scary while some was predictable but worth the $1.59 redbox rental fee.

Salt

I watched this on blu ray and really liked it. Graphics were awesome (felt like I was in the action) and story was neat. But damn that Angelina needs to eat a few burgers!

Losers

Love this movie. Funny at times, and lots of action. Gotta love that Zoe's in it!

Machete

I didn't have any high expectations when renting this but I was actually impressed with the movie. It's a different style of film that we're not used to but is quite entertaining. lots of well-known actors in it like Jessica Albo, Michelle Rodiquez, Steven Seagal, Lindsey Lohan, etc. Lots of action and hot ladies too LOL. Good film

Inception

Awesome movie. Watched it twice just to catch it all and probably worthy of a 3rd viewing. I own the blu ray version.

Buried:

Very uncomfortable movie to watch because of the situation he's in but it keeps you on the edge of your seat guessing what's gonna happen. Never watched a movie that took place in a box for the entire viewing so it's quite....claustrophobic lol. Ending was unexpected for sure. Worth watching.

Those are just a few of the movies I've seen so far.
