Somewhat reluctantly saw The King's Speech at the theater last night and liked it quite a lot. Took a little while to get used to the idea of Captain Barbossa as a speech therapist, but I warmed up to it in the end. Great performances by all, including Colin Firth, whose movies I generally dismiss for "chick flicks" without watching them. Perhaps I'll think twice now.

I also literally just came back from "The King's Speech". Honestly, the film is so inspiring and heartfelt that I wouldn't mind too much if it won Best Picture over Inception... even though the Oscars are a joke now anyway. Loved every minute of the movie.

I watched the Avatar CE edition just the other day. Had a very great experience, much similar to my first & second viewing.

1992 Director's cut of Blade Runner. First time I've seen any version of that film.

Last night, I went over to a friend's house so we could see how bad The Room is purported to be.
![]() Without a doubt thee worst movie I have ever seen. Like, some movies are so bad they're good; this one is just baaaaad. Should you ever dare watch it, you need either 1) at least three other friends to laugh at it with, 2) dubious substances to alter your state of consciousness, or 3) both. |

Gnomeo and Juliet (girlfriend's choice).
It was actually pretty good. Well, the boat load of innuendos they threw in there were anyway

Just finished watching Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, and the Half-Blood Prince all TODAY between 11:30am and just now (as I type this, I'm actually listening to the end credits of Half-Blood Prince). I am so in Harry Potter mode right now; I could breathe Potter air.
And first thing in the morning tomorrow, I'm seeing Deathly Hallows again. I. Am. So. Psyched. EDIT: *The next day* And now I've seen all 7 films over the course of three days. BUT I NEED TO SEE PART 2!!!
