Oer fko syaw Prìtani te Parìksì Tina'ite ulte oeri solalew mevola a zìsìt. Oe lu numeyu. I've studied a bit of Na'vi from the other forums and I admit that it's both beautiful and difficult. It would be wonderful to become a true Na'vi, like the Na'vi Tribe project on the Learn Na'vi website. Sadly, I'm blind (-2.5 in both eyes) and have no skills. I wouldn't be of use to any project like that. There's always the whole laser surgery that you can get on your eyes, but that costs money to get. It'll also be very uncomfortable and scary for me. I'm not a big fan of anything putting pressure on my eyes besides to put my contacts in. I do plan on getting over that fear, though.

My parents purchased the AVATAR 3-disk set for me today and I was extremely happy about it. I haven't gotten the chance to watch it completely with the deleted scenes, but I've gotten to the hunt they were doing on the backs of their ikran and pa'li. It looked very dangerous, but it must be a wonderful experience to be able to hunt like that. one of these days I'd like to make my own bow and hunt with it. That'd be a true dream, to know that you can make something that can be used as such.

Well, I'm living proof that there's such a thing as an Avatard. That's alright, though, because I can't be the only one that exists. After all, I am on an AVATAR site (the term "Avatard" isn't meant as an insult).

Maybe it's Na'vi-an pronounciation/version of the name "Brittany" or something like that? Just guessing. ^^

The two forums actually have a partnership, so many of us are on both forums, though we are not as active on one as the other.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need contacts if you're blind? If you think you could see well enough to hunt with a bow, you could probably see well enough to pick up a native sort of skill for the Na'vi Tribe.

Not literally blind - more as a metaphor. I'm -2.5 in my weaker eye and can definitely see without them, just not read very well.
