Default James Cameron on Discovery's Robogeddon

James Cameron and Mark Burnett Team for Discovery's 'Robogeddon' | TheWrap TV
What a great way to get my generation interested in science and engineering. JC, robots, and destruction, that's a potent mix.

Nice

Anyone remember Robot Wars? I used to love that when I was young... it's so hard to find the episodes anywhere now though

Never watched Battlebots, always watched Robot Wars.

Craig ****ing Charles.

I wish I could find somewhere to get the full series, paid or not. Even TPB has failed me.

Some friends of ours and us are thinking of having our own "robot wars" at a place out here that is about half the size of a football field, (the pitch, not the stadium), that is dug into the ground about 15 to 20 feet. Our robots would be bigger, and heavier, and possibly powered by 10HP gasoline motors. We have been thinking about this for about five years now.
