I'll worry about 3D when the technology for 3D TVs improves. Right now I'll stick with the Bluray.

Honestly, I'm pleased with the clarity of 3-D movies. The only 3D movies I have are Underworld Awakening and Puss in boots and they are more crisp in 3d on my TV than Avatar was in the theaters. Underworld actually had good depth too. Puss in Boots was pretty lacking though.

The main reason is the pixel pitch difference - the version you see in the cinema isn't any higher resolution, but a far large display.
