well, most of the ice and heavy snow has melted in the rain of the last couple of days, still a lot of nasty muck and slush around, dirty slushy snow is the worst. sadly, the lost 4 days of snow upset my moving schedule, and my friends who were going to help out over the past weekend, have already departed on the next out of town job. i had to hire some movers for next week, so there went any extra funds from the closing escrow check. hopefully, next week is seasonable weather-wise, gotta get the furniture over to my townhouse. wish me luck!
![]() hope all of you are having a good 2017 so far.

Right now it is mostly sunny with some high cirrus clouds, cold and dry, temp. 29F -2C, with a north breeze. We have basically been mildish, cloudy and blah except for today, but the temp swings are expected to continue, with near 60F possible again next week before it turns colder again, before we warm up after that, hrh.

We had back to back days of record high temps yesterday and today, hitting 74F twice, very dry with our last mesurable precip 24 days ago. Was breezy as well with several grass fires in the region, we are forcast to have high temps 20 to 30F above avg. Through next Thursday, possibly going a week with low temps warmer than our avg. Highs for this time of the year.

^The warmth continues here as well, 66F by noon expected to reach day number 4 in a row 70F or higher, at least the humidity is up a bit and there is a chance of a shower tonight, after 26 days with no rain/snow seeing reports of middles 60's by the noon hour all the way into Iowa at least.! They are saying our low tonight may not drop much below... 60F I have a feeling that this summer is going to be a monster.

Well yesterday we fell just short of 70F since it was cloudy all day, but it was 63F at 6am! In Feb. Thats crazy. Today was sunny and we hit 70F and they are forecasting 76F here tomorrow. We have crocuses blooming in our lawn now, Friday we will return to normal temps, at least for a few days, with highs in the 40's F.
