lėng - float in the air, hover, vin
- ayRam aLusėng - the Floating Mountains

This didn't make any sense to me given the definitions. Also, why would a Na'vi need a word for Paris?

Just a Skyperson not understanding the language I suppose.

What do you mean?
ay-Ram a-L<us>ėng... the mountains that hover, where the banshees were

and as for Paris...
Well, if we convert human names to na'vi ones, then why not doing it so with cities also? This form could have been used before also, but it's just that Frommer made it official by using it

What I meant was the difference in the words. I don't see 'lėng' in the phrase for Floating Mountains 'ayRam aLusėng' so it's a grammatical difference that didn't make sense to me. Or is it lenition? Still trying to understand the language structure.

ooh...okay...
it is in the phrase: ay-ram a-l<us>ėng.

now the word a-l<us>ėng is "lėng", only that it has been made an active action/adjective? with the infix <us>, so "float" becomes "floating" and now since the adjectives need the -a- affix on the modifying noun side, then a- is added. So the word becomes "alusėng"... and so the whole phrase is said like mentioned before
(technically you could also say "Lusėnga ayRam")

aha...okay..thank you for clarifying that. Sort of. I was never good at building grammar lessons. But I figured it was something like that and was just missing it.
Oh, and I got some of the lines from the I See You song translated..still working on it.

TOE! Please share it once done

And as a sidenote...I would like to ask people, if I should, or shouldn't include new words here any longer? I mean...How many people are actually interested in this at this point?

Dear....Eywa..
Last time I checked out a Na'vi vocabulary/dictionary, there was only like 500 words. Most of these I don't even recognize. This is going to need my full attention from now on. But it's going to take so long to catch up.
Oh well, I guess I can begin it now.
P.S. I am, Kalakuival
