Had another Pandora arrival dream where I didn't get shot! And at one point, all the na'vi and avatars were learning how to ride horses, and the humans were standing to the side giving idle commentary, and I briefly got to ride on a horse with HNM It was one of the best Pandora dreams I've had, I think.

Sounds like great fun! I'm surprised the humans were there and still alive though.

I wonder if JC is secretly watching ToS & getting some ideas for his sequel from our dreams!

Speaking of oceans. About an hour or so ago I had a dream about Pandora and the oceans.

I was walking along a walkway by the seaside but the drop was about 50 feet or so and there were all these rock ledges and mounds amongst a huge blue sea. When I looked closer I could see all these Na'vi painting some of the edges of these rock faces with white paint on the end of sticks. I could hear them all talking and then singing.

Somehow then I was whisked away to a lone cliff face a little while away from the others and the Ikran Leader of the Eastern Sea was there. I could see her at work with some herbs or tools of some kind and then she turned her head to look at some small black stone that was hanging on the left side of this alcove she was in. The stone actually was like a transmitter in a way, it had all the Na'vi's songs coming from it.

Then I remember getting a close up of the Sea Leader's face with all her red and white paint and then she suddenly took the form of Toruk and flew off.
hey you definitely have some story with the Sea Leader! wow, it would be nice if there are any sequels to your dream!

Now I really hope that JC does. He might even be here right now lurking haha. Seriously though some of the dreams I've read on here are so vivid and interesting I think they could be sequels in their own right.

Really? How cool!! I hope so..Although I haven't had a dream about Pandora for many months. I hope it changes.

Apache, have you had any interesting dreams about avatar of late?

One of my theories, when I or others have those dreams, is that still on the collective conscious idea, is that it us picking up off Cameron and his team, and so we are 'seeing' the possibilities going around in their minds for the sequel, and we get some neat dreams from them in the meantime!

about JC lurking... pls see below?
Interesting dreams about Avatar... no, no impressive dreams lately (hope they come soon!) but I had a meditation with my regular guest - the character of knowledge who showed up in my very first Avatar dream. Over time, he became more & more Na'vi-like & now he looks like Neytiri's twin brother if she had any - gorgeous!
It was something very similar to Healing Grace scene, only that we were alone in some other part of the forest. My queue was on the floor & the grass weaved into it. His hands on my back felt very warm & nice but I was worrying if he was getting any backaches in this uncomfortable position & I was feeling almost guilty He read my thoughts, as usual, & said that he knew what he was doing, he had the experience, & would I please shut up & enjoy? it was very funny cos while I listened, my ears got pricked up & moved attentively, & when he said "Shut up & enjoy (please)" I moved my tail in appreciation & relaxed. Hey, I became a complete Na'vi woman!

well this could go the other way round, too: they might just as well pick up ideas from our dreams & meditations/visions!

O.O That is so vivid! That has to be one of my favourite scenes of Avatar. It's great that you can relive a scene almost from the movie.

do you know what was the best & the most incredible in that scene? The bond (the link, the connection, tsaheylu...) I don't know how it happened - thru his hands, and/or the grass - & our queues connected to it- but suddenly we knew more of each other than we ever talked about. It was not a direct tsaheylu like joining the queues - that's too intimate - but still, this "shared knowledge" was amazing.

Like, I suddenly knew how he got that strange half-moon scar on his chest. I always wondered, how, & joked that with such a picturesque scar, he didn't need any tattoo, not even an adornment. But at that moment, I suddenly "saw" the story: he faced a Thanator in the jungle & didn't try to "Run! Definitely run!" but rather, went for a fight (maybe it was too late to run but he wouldn't give up anyway). the Thanator could have easily killed him, but apparently Eywa had other plans: both fell down a steep cliff, still fighting while twisting & turning in the air - this is when Thanator scratched him, & this is why the scar - in fact, several - were semi-circle, & not straight wounds. Thanator landed first (& broke his back) thus saving my guide's life. He fell next, & seeing what happened, told the dying Thanator that he was a great warrior, that his death had a meaning, thanked him for the service, & released his spirit according to Na'vi rites.

Later - the vision was getting hazy - people gave him the name that had to do with that fight. Something about Thanator, Paluluktan something, and/or about fighting in the air, but I didn't quite get it. Maybe I am not ready yet better luck next time.

What a badass dude. My dreams actually haven't been all that interactive, I'm realizing. I'm usually watching you all do things (as I'm either laid up with a giant hole in me, or just too weak and human to fully participate in activities).

I really liked the part how you could see the story about the scar. The Palulukan ended up becoming almost like a friend to your guide.

Avatar related dreams are so interesting when you get them, but they can be pretty unexpected.

A repost from the feeling thread:

I had an interesting dream this morning, but a bit short..I've been thinking about it all day.
In it I was above the hammock branches in Kelutral at night and Neytiri bent down over the edge to show me a huge pale blue petal of a large flower plant that grew amongst the branches. It was amazing..Just made me imagine all this new plant life in Pandora.

I'm still hoping, but until then, my dreams have improved significantly lately (I no longer get shot by the na'vi ever).
