Default Modern Testament: Genesis of the End

This is a part of a comic series done by Quino, sorry for not bringing a high quality copy of it but it's the best I could find.
  1. In the beginning of the end, Man created machines and factories. And the planet was clean and fertile. But human ambition hovered above the Earth's surface.
  2. The Man said: Let there be industrial revolution, multiply the factories number and let their chimney's smoke rise and turn black the skies with their ashes and gas.
  3. And the skies turned black. And the Man called Progress to the black skies. And Man saw that progress was good. There were light and shadows. First day.
  4. Since Progress is good, let's end with everything we had been given: with the every animal and every bird of the sky, and every fish of the sea, and every ocean.
  5. And every blade of grass and every tree that give fruit on Earth's surface. And so the Man delighted with his creation, because there was nobody cleverer than him.
  6. Thought the Man: It's not good for oil to be alone, let the nuclear energy be. And the nuclear energy was. And its slags and the oil's spread through the oceans and skies of Earth.
  7. And thus everything that had been given to Man began to die out; the animals, the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and every blade and every tree that gave fruit on Earth's surface.
  8. And saw the Man all the things he had done, and they were irreparable. Second day.
  9. Thus, Man did away with the earth and the skies, and everything that lived beneath them. And the third day Man finished his creation. And proud of it, the third day he rested, pleased, underground.
