Default Favourite childhood videogames...

oooo pitfall!! I vaguely remember that. I think Mario Bros on the original nintendo was my fave. I also loved the carnage of NARC.

Anyone remember these?

Bug! (1996)

It was my favourite game from my childhood. It was funny, rude and you could even race Sonic in it! A lot of memories from playing this. I wish I still had it.

Overboard! (1997)

This is such a fun game! I recall that this was the best multiplayer game you could play on PS1.

It was so epic! I was so young when I played it, like 5 or 6 or something, ages back. Still love it to bits though.

Megaman, Metal Slug, Raiden, R-Type, Mario, Sonic, Ghouls/Ghosts n' Goblins, Metroid, Mario.....

I spent a lot of time at arcades and in front of various Nintendo/Sega consoles.

I mostly played shmups and action platformers.

Umm... I've got you beat. I remember playing Pong, Breakout, Space Invaders... in an arcade. In high school.

First home computer game I remember... an ASCII dungeon game that I can't even remember the title of...(could it have been Zelda? Nah..)
Dark Castle 1 and 2. and the one and only original Prince of Persia in black and white. Then Prince of Persia 2 in color, which as of three years ago I still had the 3.5 disks for but were corrupted and didn't work anymore. You had to have the 'instruction' book in order to play the game because it asked for a particular word on such and such a page in a certain paragraph before it would load the game. If you lost the book, you were toast.

So yeah... I've been around a while. I never really was into console games, but have played my share of video games.

Carry on... I'll just shuffle my walker over here to the corner and watch you guys.

I wasn't much of a gamer as a kid. Can't remember if that was my decision or not, either way, I played lots of soccer and hockey.

*fumbles through drawer of old computer games*
Animaniacs: A gigantic adventure
Sim City 2000
Some Magic School-Bus games.
And Scooby-Doo, something about a haunted fun park.

Oh and some Mario thing on the Gameboy, I think.

Never really had a console until the PS2. (even then, only ever bought a couple games for it. SW:Battlefront 1 and 2, GTA:Vice City, and a few others.) I feel like I missed out on lots of good games. Oh well. I've got a list about a page long of games to be played - I'm catching up to you nerds.
